Fire visit

I had a phone call followed by a visit from the Fire Service today.

When I went for my first Covid jab they were there getting people to sign up for a visit to improve fire safety and offering free smoke detectors to those over 60. 

After the phone call I was offered 2 smoke detectors (1 for each floor) and a Carbon Monoxide alarm as we have gas fired central heating. They were willing to fit them if I was unable to, though additional Covid precautions would have been necessary. They have self adhesive pads as well as a screw fix option.
