Day 366 A day of reflection

Today in Blipland is Tiny Tuesday and I have chosen a very small coffee cup and saucer from a set inherited from my mother in law to blip.  It is very pretty of course, but truthfully it was also very near to hand!  Thanks to Cathy1947 for hosting.
Today, planned by the Marie Curie charity and backed by our PM, was a day of national reflection, as it is the anniversary of the first Covid lockdown in the UK  We lit a candle this evening at 8pm although I believe we were the only ones in our part of our street to do so.

Remembering Margaret, Daughter #1's partner's grandma, who died on 23 March 2020 and my friend Shirley who died 15 January 2021 and feeling grateful that all other friends and family who contracted Covid-19 have recovered or are recovering, mostly without hospitalisation.
