The crocheted baby blanket.

I have been indoors since the sciatica began since Saturday night. I am still on pain relief and it is not a nice experience.There was plenty of time to complete Sarah's baby blanket shown in the blip. I used three 100g balls of wool. The extra ball is being crocheted into a scarf. It is working up fast and is lovely soft texture.
My Mum is getting used to her temporary stay in the rehabilitation centre. They are helping her walk again. My sister has to ring them up to make an appointment to visit Mum each afternoon. She can not go inside but has to chat through a door to Mum's room that only opens six inches.
Arthur returned from having eight teeth removed at the vet's yesterday evening. It was a joy and a relief to see him.
We think the anaesthetic effected him quite a lot. His eyes were not focusing as they normally do and he ran up and down meowing and we did our best to reassure him and loved him. He slept in this morning, but is more or less his usual self again thankfully.

I am listening to Jeremy Vine's Show. The sun has come out now. It is cold and windy too.
Let's hope we have good weather this weekend.
