(085) Inchkeith
This is a telephoto shot of Inchkeith island, taken from Kinghorn, in Fife.
The first extra shot is a crop of the main image, showing a bit more detail of the lighthouse and derelict buildings that are scattered around the island, mainly from previous wartime constructions.
Second extra is a view of the shore at Portobello with the Nautical College and Millerhill Recycling and Energy Recovery Facility.
The third extra is a view of the shore at Leith and Edinburgh city centre with the replacement for the St.James shopping centre rising above the skyline and reflecting the afternoon sunshine. I've not been across the water to see the new construction close up but from Fife it looks like someone has taken a can opener to a building and left a sharp bit sticking up!
Image quality here is limited mainly by the atmospheric distortion across the approximately 16km distance.
