7 years a Blipper
I started blipping on 1 January 2014, the day before Nathaniel was born. I tried cold turkey after 2 years but couldn’t give it up and re-started 3 months later.
I enjoy the community where everyone is supportive both re the photos and also, with responding to the journal entries. I enjoy the banter and politics too. My blip is a bit of lemon cake - I like baking though I don’t have a sweet tooth. There’s also some blueberries which I eat everyday with my morning muesli. The Rosemary is for remembrance of the Blippers I enjoyed following but who have stopped blipping. I miss you Lesley!
I got out for a quick 3.5 miles round the moor this morning in the sun before the weather changed. All the wind we’ve had has dried out the mud so I wore my walking shoes instead of boots. My planter fasciitis did not hurt nearly as much in them so that’s good to know.
Tonight we are having a zoom drink with Chloe and Graham. They live in London so we’ll not see them in real life till - hopefully - the summer. Some friends are starting to talk about garden meetings but we are all a bit nervous - how does a social life work? Tim Dowling was funny in theGuardian about re-learning how to have a conversation - ‘explore your shared reality - you know that thing where you think the Amazon guy is flirting with you, but it turns out he just wants a bottle to pee in?” Oh well I laughed.
#3 daughter is a high school teacher. Her Zoe App has told her to get a Covid test. I hope there’s not going to be another outbreak among the young now they are all back at school.
