Boiler Day 2

Day two of the new boiler installation and after a night of no heating and waking to temperatures of minus 4 it was not a good day. Had to shower at work and the water temperature there was not much warmer.

However progress made and home to heating and hot water. Hole where the old vent used to be is semi filled with insulation so hopefully brick work done tomorrow to completely close it off. Just goes to show how old our old boiler was as the old vent filled the hole and now just a tiny vent sticks out.

Also due to being a combi the water pressure is a lot higher and it now comes out of our taps like a rocket so must be wary of this otherwise water will be going everywhere.
