A very old chimney

L3 Day 98 lovely blue sky this morning but still windy and chilly in Bushy Park.
Still lots of mistletoe in the trees leading towards Cannon Gate. These gates are now rarely open but were originally the entrance to Bushy House. ( Bushy House is now part of NPL - The National Physical Laboratory) Apparently a family lived in the small gatehouse! (
See extra) The chimney is unusual, maybe the original as are the lamps. It is called Cannon Gate as there used to be two cannons outside the gate ( I have found a photograph with them in it) which were reputedly from the Crimean War (1853-1856).
