Cherry Blossom Festival

L3 Day 99 An early trip to the Celebration of Cherry Blossom at RHS Garden at Wisley. They have a map you can download to your phone with a QR code to show 10 different varieties and also information about them and their approximate the flowering times. The avenue of trees ( prunus x yedoenis - also know as the Yoshino cherry) by the main entrance are in full flower . This cherry is famed for being mass planted throughout Japan, producing a profusion of single blushed flowers. There are 140 trees of mixed sizes both outside the main entrance and just inside....these will only be flowering for another week or so.
