Strutting

Today we continued to construct the fence at the allotment for the climbing fruit - a job we started last week. Andy put in place a number of wooden struts to steady the poles. He’s not done anything like this before and probably put them in at slightly too steep an angle but they will do the job adequately. It was great to be outside. Even though it was cool and breezy, the light and fresh air do a power of good.

Other activities included a dog walk, cleaning, chocolate cake baking, and pancakes for dinner!
