A sea of blue..bells

Easter brought the usual morning hunt for Easter baskets. The bunny was quite tricky this year and had Lily climbing up and over trees to get to her basket. It was beautiful and sunny but still windy and cold. I like how our trail to the baskets gets us outside nice and early. Ruby and Lily were up by 6:30; typical for a day when candy is anticipated. They had a difficult time waiting for their sister May to arise.

The afternoon was fun-filled. A highlight was going to this field of blue bells a few miles from our house with a good friend and neighbor. The girls raced to the field and spent a good hour in almost complete silence filling their baskets with these beautiful spring flowers. We could hardly pull ourselves away to head to another friend's house for a fantastic meal and amazing egg hunt.
