visiting the family

I had a lovely walk this afternoon, following on from where Joanna and I left off when we went up to Springfieldhill fort last week. This is the part of the world where my father's family lived in the 18th and 19th centuries, and many of them are buried in the Old Dunscore Kirkyard

Just behind this is the tomb of the infamous Grierson of Lag.

This morning I booked a train ticket to see my living family, in May. I'm not going to get too excited in case it doesn't happen. Just everyone please behave yourselves so we don't get a £$%&&%$ third wave before I see my parents again!
