Spot the horses!
Good luck holding on to the tails of these two ‘ladies’, Wilma and Vera! First of all they weren’t interested in coming in, hence they are as far away as possible. Then they realised it was home time, and came hurtling down. Once upon a time I would have foolishly climbed the hill, only to be left standing there alone as Vera galloped past me and down to the gate ( pretty certain she was laughing as she passed me ) ... Now I’m wiser, and wait somewhere at the bottom for her.
Another unseasonably hot day but the temperature is set to drop from 21° to 7° overnight and then continuing to fall over the next few days to 0°!
