Chop, Chop

Today was prep day for our Easter dinner and company. Everyone pitched in, even the lady who should have been resting. But she is a much better cook than me so we let her do a little. The kids are such great house cleaners. My daughter is a neat freak and the kids help keep everything sparkling clean and orderly. It was still a bit cool today but the sun was out and the wind has calmed. After the jobs were done, I collected the baskets from home and dropped them off at each house. Funny, the new large take home bottles of Chick-Fil-A sauce was what they liked most. Oh, and I picked up a beautiful dark chocolate cake I won at another baked goods auction. It sure felt good to put these old legs up tonight. Hubby dropped by with a few extra chairs for tomorrow. He has done quite a bit getting our lawn ready for summer.
