Easter goodies

What a beautiful day it turned out to be. I enjoyed my coffee and some reading in the garden. After lunch I played through my flute pieces this time with my daughter on piano. She was sight reading and I wasn’t at my best but it was fun all the same! Mum came up mid afternoon and we had a walk round the lake. We bumped into some close friends and had a long chat. The roast was almost cooked when we got back so I prepared the veg while Mum chatted to my brother on FaceTime. We enjoyed our dinner together and then played a few games (and tried to not to eat too much of the cakes and chocolates. ) It is Easter after all ... a day to indulge!
