To And Fro

The rain during the night was unbelievable! It sounded as though there was a waterfall outside my window as the deluge flowed off the roof on to my terrace in an unending torrent.

When I drove to school this morning, it was at a steady crawl, peering through the windscreen to see the rear lights of the cars in front.

Then this afternoon it vanished and suddenly there was not a cloud in the sky. Driving home just now, you wouldn't have known it had rained at all.

Weird. But it will do the gardens good.
