How long?

The “Twelfth Night” debate on when to take down the Christmas decorations does not, as far as I am aware, extend to Easter.

Since we bought these Easter decorations in Copenhagen 30 years ago we have had an Easter branch almost every year. The house works previously and lockdown last year interrupted the display so it has been good to have it back again.

But how long are you meant to keep up Easter decorations? If it is until after the last frosts it could be a while. Water outside was frozen this morning and while we have not had any yet, there is snow in the air. Despite the freshness it has been a shorts and short sleeve day since out of the wind and in the sunshine it has been lovely.

Now to the next “how long?” How long can you keep eating chocolate for? We succumbed to the Easter Egg last night. Today is our son’s birthday so more chocolate ahead. I see a chocolate week ahead.
