I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight

I’m back on Merseyside with M for the Easter weekend so we decided to risk a trip into town tonight to see the River of Light trail www.visitliverpool.com/riveroflight which is showing across the city for a couple of weeks; but much though we wanted to see all the light installations, we both felt a bit unsafe at some of the sites - given the numbers of over-excited, largely unmasked, people being squeezed into relatively small spaces.

So after seeing a few pieces where we felt we were able to stay safely socially distanced, we decided to cut our losses and head home again!
