Home (Day 2143)

The weather was fairly horrible this morning. It had snowed overnight and strong winds meant I drove through blizzards to get to town and the bathroom re-fit.
There was disappointing news when I arrived, as there was a leak under the shower tray. A quick look indicated that the waste pipe had come apart, meaning crawling under the floor and cutting through the floor below the tray to get to the pipe. A frustrating hour.
The rest of the day was spent putting handles on the doors of units, fitting trims and doing all the little finishing touches which always seem to take forever.
I visited another customer before heading home, glad to have finished another bathroom.
The view from the bottom of the garden provided today's blip. It looks a lot nicer than it was - the icy wind made it very unpleasant to be outside. It seems that my beautiful wife has battled through the wind and snow all day doing hoss and dog stuff.
