John's Tomato Plants
Although I'm feeling that they are now also mine. I deserve at least partial credit for bringing them into the house every night and taking them out to the front porch every day. I should probably be singing to them but John can't carry a tune in a basket, so I know he doesn't sing to them either, and they seem to be doing just fine. Looks like I'll be tucking them in at night for at least another two weeks.
John's X-ray today didn't show as much bone growth as we had all hoped for, but apparently it has stabilized enough so that after two more weeks with crutches and the boot, he can get rid of the boot and slowly start putting weight on it using crutches only.
This news was not what he wanted to hear, but it could have been worse. At least he has something positive he can start to do in two weeks. I sprang for a good bottle of Seghesio Zinfandel at the store this morning. I figured however things went with the doctor we deserved a nice bottle of wine.
