Perfect timing

Feeling proud of myself, not going to lie: Managed to fit in preparing tonight's dinner in the 40 minute gap between returning home from pre-school and taking the children for their spring shearing. I don't often cook fish - I don't much like it - but I do like kedgeree, for some reason. I was even more pleased when Littler G asked for seconds and even Little G ate most of a reasonable sized portion. It has to be said, though, that this has to be the most pan-consuming dinner of all time... Oh well, probably worth the washing up really.

A grey, damp day here today, so it was nice to have some colour on our plates.
