Off The Leash
So the sun shone, still cold though, shops opened, beer ‘gardens full, and streets full of people, the long awaited ‘new dawn’ was underway.
Sam, Paddy and I kept well away from the huge influx of people to the beaches by taking a more urban route for our walk. One of our frequent stops is at the viewing point above Gyllyng Street, the view out over the harbour is one of our favourites, ever changing and always interesting.
The view today was one of a luxury yacht entering harbour and rounding the stern of one of the Bay Class RFA’s. The usual buzz of small boats is on the increase as people are allowed out.
With Clare working until late in the evening I took the opportunity for a couple of ‘quiet ones’ at the rugby club but we arrived home within a couple of minutes of each.
Waiting to see what the new ‘normal’ will be.
