Fish for supper

Rain rain rain and I didn't make the time for a sortie with camera, so I took this; I discussed a portrait of Milo - but the plants were more compliant...

Results day ... good outcome: he is within sight of the A's and B's he needs to satisfy his conditional offers; geography done, economics nearly there and French needs some work. It is the spelling he struggles with every time, that's part of dealing with dyslexia. So we had a celebration glass this evening ... with our soup and fish.

Apparently Milo already has enough points to get into one of his chosen universities; but he doesn't want to go there. "So why did you apply?" I asked innocently and son to and fro got a withering look for not understanding the gamesmanship of the university entrance application process. No indeed...!
