Blackstone Edge Reservoir

SATURDAY

I slept for over eight hours (first time for as long as I can remember) and was out in the garden by 9:00 am. I spent most of the morning and early afternoon working on the back lawn (moss raking, scarifying, cutting and watering).

After watching the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh on television, we headed out to the top of the moors for an ice cream and a 5 km walk around Blackstone Edge Reservoir. Half the walk was  in Lancashire and half in Yorkshire. 

I'm not a fan of electricity pylons but the light was good over the reservoir.
