Friday: International Women's Day

We had drinks in the office today to mark International  Women's Day.  The men had gone out and bought single red roses which they gave to the lucky ladies.  We actually spent most of our time discussing whether International Women's Day was a kick-back to the socialist era, when it was widely marked and celebrated, and whether we should still be marking it.  There were some strong views that it was too reminiscent of Tito's era.

In the end, we agreed that it was just a mighty fine excuse to have a glass wine and to eat salty sticks!

Here are my colleagues, Andreja and Borka, clutching their red roses.
