Son1 and Basil had a nice game of fetch this evening after which Basil was a bit zonked and had a snooze...until Crufts came on TV and his annual 'bark fest' officially started (we missed the terrier class yesterday but I'm pleased to see I can catch up with it on Youtube these days).

In other, not altogether unrelated news, I received a cheque in the post today from my pet insurers who have taken me by surprise and settled my claim for Basil's treatment for atrophic dermatitis. Hurrah! I must remember to thank Kirstie the Vet for her part in it.
