Unintended Collage

I really didn't mean to do a collage today but it's been so busy again I just couldn't help myself!
Top right - We had Buddy and Hendrix again today from 12:30 until about 18:15. Jonty really does like the children, as long as there's not too much patting and definitely no poking or grabbing. They came through the door and Jonty barked and came running, or more like hopping step by step, down the stairs. You can see the boys were eagerly waiting for him at the bottom.
Top Left - 2nd, or maybe 3rd, clutch of Blackbird chicks. It seems like only a week since the last clutch fledged and were hopping around the garden. Lovely to see we'll be hearing the flapping of tiny wings again!

I took Jonty out for a walk earlier in the morning and when I went out the side gate I was shocked at how much the bushes had grown into the little pathway between the gate and the road. When I got back I mowed the back lawn and then got the hedge trimmer out and did the pathway. I'm not saying I'm particularly fat but I was brusing against the foliage on the way out in the morning, but not now.
And now, after tidying up, we can relax Phewwwwww!

P.S. just changed the flags too. It's ANZAC Day tomorrow.
