Sunday: “Stella” Cherry Blossom

Stiff easterly breeze all day made it feel very chilly - no wonder the cherry blossom is a few weeks later than usual.
Wind was good for drying the washing outdoors.
Moved plants around between greenhouse and garden.
Our daughter (and Cousin Idris) drove the long journey home, it was nice spending time with them and we were very lucky with the warm weather which made it all perfect xxx
A swallow flew very close to the house this evening, saw it’s distinctive tail. Around dusk last night saw a half dozen swallows/house martins soaring and swooping over the big field near the main road - too far away to see how many or which type of birds.
