Monday: Cordyline Flower Spikes

We woke up early this morning, MrD wanted to go to do the handyman work early as there was something he needed to check up on.
I put a load of washing in the machine and they were outdoors on the washing line before I went off to Lidl to do "a big shop".
Lidl was fairly quiet, there were lots of gaps on shelves and displays but I got all the important things. Bought half a dozen trailing geraniums for the hanging baskets or just for planting up mixed tubs like previous summers.
An afternoon of reading, too tired to do anything else - I've had a busy few days gardening, resting up now before the next set of jobs!
Today's Blip is to keep a promise to our Jo and The Sailor, that I would post a photo when the Cordyline (Tina Turner tree!!) produced the flower spikes this Spring :-)) xx
A chilly 11°C with the easterly wind and clear sky all day, no sign of rain.
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
