Fen landscape at its best

Absolutely beautiful walk along the river bank this afternoon - unusually with only one dog! Merlin has not had a one-to-one outing for ages so I just took him. He seems to enjoy having me all to himself and also the ability to do his own thing without a nosey poodle joining in! Of course the others went out afterwards - no one missed out. It was lovely while the sun was shining but a decidedly cool breeze was evident when it briefly clouded over.
