First rain for weeks

Strong wind and rain forecast for this afternoon. I got back from walking the dogs at midday - ten minutes later there was rain on the windows! By tea time it was blowing a gale and raining steadily. We certainly need the rain!
Blipfoto reminded me this is my 2555th consecutive daily entry - which makes it 7 years. But it doesn't - they take no account of leap years! My first Blip was on 6th May 2014  so three more days to go.
