The end of the walk

Today, instead of doing a solitary early morning walk, I joined with the local walking group who do an approx 2mile walk around the village at 10.30 on Tuesday mornings. It was very pleasant walking with others -  mostly ladies (aged 50+ at a guess), walking steadily but comfortably for an hour or so. I assumed they would finish where they started - but no, they finished along the road a bit at the cafe! We were all very good and resisted cakes, just had tea or coffee (with a little biccy). I will join them regularly, I think. Todays walk was 1.7 miles but I did 2.5 as I walked to the start and home.
