A day for waterfalls

Thank you all for the response to my recent photos.

Another wet day so we decided on a low level walk from Wasdale Head. Surprised to see snow on the tops in contrast to Sunday. Thank goodness for decent waterproofs. However not much photography as the conditions were not conducive to exposing the camera to the damp conditions.

Called in to the Ritson Falls just above the Wasdale Head Inn. The falls were named after Will Ritson, a 19th century publican Of the Wasdale Head Inn. He was famous for telling tall tales such as stories of giant Turnips and inspired the World’s Greatest Liar competition! The extra gives an indication of today’s weather....we weren’t the only ones looking rather bedraggled. Hoping for an upturn in conditions for tomorrow!
