Girls Day Out.
Woke up to a poorly Bella this morning. Turns out the dog biscuit she was given in the Walkies Pub yesterday had chicken in it. Who would have thought a plain old Bonio had chicken!!!
Thankfully I hadn't planned on taking her out with me today to meet my girls, sister and step mum. She stayed at home with Mr W.
Before I left, I took a covid test. I wanted to be able to pick up DN2 to take with me up to Windsor. She also did a test so we both knew we were safe from each other.
We were due to meet at Brown's in Windsor but they cancelled our booking due to the weather. Luckily, my step mum managed to book a table at The Palmers Arms in Dorney. The outside area was beautiful but all the patio heaters tripped out after about half an hour so it was a chilly afternoon in the wind.
Worth it though to be able to see my family. I havnt seen my sister for over a year. She works in ITU at the Royal Berks and feels exceptionally grateful to have never caught Covid.
DN1 is now 36 weeks pregnant and is properly waddling and feels quite uncomfortable. DN2 is 24 weeks and has back and hip pain and isn't relishing pregnancy as much!!!
We shall travel up to see DN1 more once we are allowed inside from 17th May.
