May the Fourth be with you .......
Rain again, and lots of it. The outside cattle were not enjoying things when I fed them. The last two to calve were at the gate so I let them back in for the day then turfed them back out this evening once it had dried up a bit.
Went to fill up the bruiser hopper with barley but the intake pit had a good 9 inches of water in it so had to bail it out with buckets before I could get going.
Went to Carnwath to get more add blue for the tractors and did a deal for the demo tractor. Next problem will be getting someone to drive it as Ross left last week for pastures new. Considering he only came to help at the lambing last March , I think we managed to keep him a lot longer than he anticipated !
Picked up a waterproof switch on the way home and wired it up on the diesel tank pump as the wee pressure switch snapped off yesterday. Just realised how blind I am getting for wee fiddly close up jobs, the joys of getting older !
The annual Star Wars pun ,this time on the overflow of Rosebery reservoir.
