Special evening!

On the 9th May is Liberation Day and celebrates the day the island of Guernsey was freed from German occupation. The residential home my Mum lives in had a special tea to celebrate this. Some folk led karaoke songs from the 40’s and 50’s which most of them knew. Family members joined them. They made a real effort! Lovely food, beautifully decorated room and a fun evening. The lady with my Mum was happy to have her photo taken. We are not allowed to publish photos of the residents but Mums friend agreed! Thanks to all staff!
