Izzy (am) and Dan (pm)

The day has come, then: the last Thursday morning coffee and canal walk with Izzy before she goes off to her new job. I suppose it could have been a bit of a sad occasion but, as usual, it was a very happy three quarters of an hour. Furthermore, I realised that there's only been one week when it was raining and we had to take shelter under the arches rather than walking. We've been really lucky.

And in the afternoon, Dan placed his first vote (see Extra). Satisfyingly, he was able to vote Labour, as we only had the police commissioner to vote for. (For 'regular' elections, Labour has no presence here so we vote Lib Dem.)
