Mothering Sunday

These are the primulas we were given at the Cafe church that was held in our village hall this morning, for Mothering Sunday.
Breakfast, including bacon baps, toast and coffee, with Sunday papers and good company were followed by a short informal service. Children played on the floor, parents and grandparents joined in the singing. It was a good way to begin the day.
My own children sent cards and we had Facetime chats on the iphone !
Outside, it has become colder, wetter and windier!
