At the Vet's

Russet is waiting patiently to see the vet. She is trying not to notice those scales at the back of the room, hoping she won't have to be weighed.
A lady had a little terrier on its flexi-lead in the waiting room, allowing it to sniff at a big Labrador and even at a cat's basket! Russet is not very friendly with small terriers, so it was a bit stressful!!
Three injections later,
(new diseases and new drugs to combat them keep arriving in this country) and after some nice treats from the vet, and we are ready to pay the bill.
He pronounced her fit and well, and even said that her weight was fine! So she didn't have to sit on those scales!
