Birthday Boy

Today is Mr A’s birthday which means he’s no longer my toy boy.....for the next few weeks anyway! We are the same age for 24 days a year.

We had a great day, starting with coffee in bed (which I made, for a change!) whilst opening cards and presents.

Then a drive over to Preston to collect my belongings from work.
It was lovely to see everyone, even if it was bittersweet with me no longer working there. They seemed fairly confident that I’d be back at some point and wished me well for starting back to work tomorrow.

Back home for more coffee and a cupcake. They were yummy, so I’m happy that our wedding cake will be too.

Birthday boy didn’t feel like cooking so we had a very rare treat....KFC. It was indeed finger lickin’ good ;-)
