No - WYSI not WYG.
I know one who may be about to be gobsmacked.  For more years than I care to remember I have ranked Horseradish akin to Celery - Noxious Weed.
There is a - HOWEVER - two in fact.
However 1. Alice and I finally found a condiment containing it which did not taste like the roof of HELL.
However 2. A friend send me some fresh, grated, root and told me about using it as a "Tea"; OK pedant - Tisane.
However - as such it was relatively pleasant and, apparently very good for you.
SO:-
Give it a whirl.  Checked up - seems, as I suspected, to be rampant; ergo grow in a Pot.  Unless I can dedicate one of my nearly-raised beds to its cultivation.
It may be a while till harvestable?
