Wedding Anniversary lunch

It’s not until Thursday but V scored a table at Petersham Nurseries, a favourite in far West London, now near West London so we shot up there mid afternoon for a late afternoon lunch, dinner, ‘linner’ whatever you call the meal at the only time you can get a booking.  It was all sublime.  The restaurant is in the outbuildings of the chicest nursery I know and we came home laden with plants in unusual colours.  Oh and a table for the courtyard outside the kitchen door.  This is the dining room - formerly the tea room but as it’s outside they can use it now.  The main dining room is also a glasshouse but insulated and currently full of bougainvillea while this one boasts these amazing wisterias in purple and white.
