Wide Awake Club

I managed to stay up until just after 10pm last night; being back at work was exhausting!

Typical me, I did too much too soon and as a result arrived home with a sausage leg. Cue a telling off from Mr A!

I’m not in work now until Friday, so today will be a rest day and I will keep my leg elevated as much as I can.

I had planned a lie in but was wide awake at just after 5.30am. I lay there for a little while, listening to the birds singing.

By 6am I knew getting back over to sleep wasn’t going to happen, so made myself a cup of tea which I drank in bed.

I think a nap may be on the cards for this afternoon ;-)
