Covered
I hadn't realised how snowy it was this morning until I stepped outside my front door! I was astounded to see about 2 inches lying on the ground and flakes still coming. This never happens at my house!
I worried if the busses would still be running and sadly they were. No snow day for me! I got to work with relative ease, I was in early enough to miss all the disruptive road shenanigans.
It snowed on and off all day. On the way home, I decided to walk up to Calton Hill, hoping for a blippertunity, maybe involving a monument and a snowman?
Sadly the steps up the hill looked treacherously icy so I gave it a miss. I slipped 3 times on the way home so I think it was a wise choice! I will never understand why councils only grit the roads! It makes the roads the only safe places to walk!! Grrr
Anyway, I spied this lovely view of Regent Road Gardens with Salisbury Crags in the background. A lovely view of Edinburgh, covered in snow. (Ok I'm done with the snow now - please let it go quickly and be replaced by Spring)
