Rogue Boiler Breakdown

We woke up freezing to find the boiler had broken down again. All this trouble started just as the 3 year warranty expired, of course, and it has cost me hundreds of pounds since.....

Still I now have boiler breakdown cover and within an hour they were round at the house and shortly afterwards we had heat again, just in time as the ice age descended on Oxford.

The engineer found that the installer hadn't screwed in the flue pipe and issued this warning notice... so yet more to spend on my rogue boiler.

Still, I've got the mother's day fudge to sustain me!
