Head Girl!

I think that Hannah, Milly, and Dan wouldn't mind me saying that none of them had much interest in being head boy or head girl at school. Charlie and Izzy, on the other hand, both enjoyed the role of deputy head girl*.

It hasn't entirely surprised me that Abi is of a mind that takes such things seriously and over the last few weeks she has been working towards the role of Head Girl. Today she found out that she'd got it!

She was pleased as punch and this evening we went out to celebrate at Vero Moderna in Salford, which proved to be an ideal venue.

*I wouldn't want to read too much into it but it's interesting that they have, respectively, gone on to become a social worker and to work for an international aid organisation.
