Pond edge

The hospital pond is now bordered by cow parsley and yellow flag. It is my open air waiting room.

Everything seems later this Spring, and a bit topsy turvey. After the driest April on record we are now heading potentially for the wettest May, with both months cooler than March. The warmest Spring day may well end up being March 30th. Confusing for the wildlife as well as us. Years ago the climate change models were predicting more extremes, and that seems to be what we’re getting.
