Ignore the photo / NQL's birthday

This is the only photo I took today. I sent it to the Minx after a design decision (by me) was overruled (by her). Such is life, ho hum, etc.

That aside it was a rather joyful day.

So, context: I first met Simon just under six years ago and on that first occasion we discovered a mutual love of Gary Numan. I wouldn't say we discuss him obsessively, although we do talk about him frequently and often return to the topic of a particular contention, which I think is largely specific to us.

With Simon's birthday on the way - it is, in fact, today - I took the opportunity when I interviewed Gary a few weeks ago to set up a birthday present for Simon. All is explained here.

Although he won't read this, I will take the opportunity to thank Gary again for being such a good sport and also to thank the Minx who filmed the footage on Saturday and then edited it yesterday.
