I quoted Ovid to a doctor today. Wise man Ovid. He said that “I flee who chases me and chase who flees me.” Rather like a certain Mr Cummings who turned upon his old masters today and dished the dirt big time.


No charity there.


My day was dull and predictable. That’s work for you. This Oxfam shop window was at least amusing. What do vegans eat? God knows, bunch of weirdos.


My evening was however a delight. Opening gala event of the Hay Festival. Inspiring, diverse, funny. Really lovely. Check it out here
