Sour Cherry Danish break

Yesterday a friend, a very good friend apparently, picked up a few of these treats from a beloved bakery up in the city. I was patient enough to save one for today. Yaaay me. 

Today was a nice brunch with Lauralea and then I was able to do some work on the yard. Enough to deserve a break for some cardamom tea and this little baby. 

A lovely sunny day out here today. This danish makes it about perfect.
