A day out walking

Today we went walking with our Natural History Walking Club.  The main blip shows water views along the Tamaki Estuary.  The top two photos show a sunny day, the bottom two show the day deteriorating.  Not long after the photo on the bottom right was taken, the rain started, getting heavier and heavier accompanied by hail.  Our wet weather gear got absolutely saturated on the outside.  The first extra shows an old bridge and the new bridge that replaced it, plus the carvings at either end of the new bridge.  The second extra shows a stand of trees in Churchill Park and a planter box at the side of a driveway.  Look closely at the red flowers and see if you can spot that they’re made from shells.
